Picture Framer Shop Assistant (Ramsgate)

**Responsibilities**:

- Consult with clients to understand their framing needs and preferences
- Assist clients in selecting appropriate framing materials, styles, and finishes
- Measure and cut mats and frame components accurately and precisely
- Assemble frames using various tools and techniques
- Mount artwork securely within frames, ensuring proper alignment and presentation
- Deliveries and Hanging Services
- Inspect finished projects for quality control and make any necessary adjustments
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the framing process

**Requirements**:

- Driver's License
- must
- Previous experience in picture framing or related field
- preferred
- Proficiency with framing tools and equipment, including mat cutters, saws, and joiners
- preferred
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Creative problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of conservation framing techniques is a plus
