We are seeking a self-motivated and energetic career focused person to join our team. In the position of Retail Manager. The successful applicant for this position will be customer focused and have a passion for sales and service. Oversee sales operations of the Ord Group, including Ord Machining, Ord Agricultural Equipment and Katherine Ag. You will service customers, manage staff, manage inventory, order and receive stock, maintain records of stock levels and financial transactions. Set policies and ensure that they are followed and updated to remain relevant. Previous experience in sales and service and a knowledge and interest in agricultural and mechanical equipment is required. Duties Include: Liaise with both workshop and administration staff. Be able to recruit, supervise, manage, and provide training to staff. Ensure Ord Machining operates within it’s budget expenditure. Manage store advertising and promotional activities. Ensure that stock is received in good condition, at the correct price and within expected timeframes. Ensure stock is purchased at the best possible price and is stored neatly and securely. Supply items and advice to customers as required Ensure products are sold to customers at the correct price and in accordance with markup policies. Essential criteria: Drivers Licence Ability to work as a part of a team and manage staff Good numerical and computer skills Attention to detail Ability to pass a police clearance Minimum of 5 years of sales, parts interpreting experience Experience using Mechanic Desk and Xero are advantageous.
