Position:Room Leader (Responsible Person) Status: Full-time permanent
- Two (2) positions available Salary: $89,552.32 per annum (Inclusive of Worker Retention Payment
- WRP and $3.55 per hour remote allowance) + additional allowances and superannuation Qualifications: Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or (ACECQA approved equivalent) Centre name: One Tree Wadeye Children and Family Centre Location: Wadeye, Northern Territory 0822 Located in the small coastal community of Wadeye, 420kms from Darwin, the Wadeye Children and Family Centre is the place for dedicated and passionate educators. About the role: Our remote services are in some of Australia's most hard to reach underserviced locations. - $3.55 extra per hour
- 4 weeks' annual leave plus 2 weeks off over the festive season
- Relocation allowance up to $3,000

- Minimum one (1) year's experience in a room leader role or above
- Experience in working in a remote community
- Strong knowledge of child development and theories relating to children's learning
- Communication skills and ability to lead a team
- Evidence of having contributed to assessment and rating at meeting or exceeding level
- Develop and evaluate high quality programs for children in line with recognised frameworks
- Ability to advocate for children's rights and role model positive relationships with children Requirements
- Eligible to work in Australia and willing to relocate to Wadeye, NT
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or (ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Valid NT Ochre card (Working with Children Check)
- Current National Police Clearance certificate (less than 6 months old)
