Description
Merge is seeking an experienced labourer for a belt picker role with a company based in Kwinana. As a Belt Picker you will ensure the effective movement and sorting of items on conveyor belts. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with great physical fitness and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced workplace.
About the role:
This position requires standing for an extended period of time and performing repetitive tasks
Removing items from a conveyor belt and sorting recyclable materials into designated bins or containers
Adhere to all safety guidelines, rules and regulations
May be required to work in a dusty or noisy environment
Keep work area clean and organised
Be able to stand for a long period of time
The successful applicant has the following skills and experience:
Previous experience in a physically demanding role in recycling or manufacturing
Be able to stand for a long period of time
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, lift heavy objects and perform strenuous manual labour
Have a hard-working nature and a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain focus in a rapid-paced setting
Need a valid driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle.
Working at heights & EWP tickets preferrable
Must have LF Forklift License
