As our establishment is a combined convenience store and fuel station (Pacific Fuel) we sell petroleum products such as petrol and diesel, along with a wide range of retail convenience store items. These include automotive supplies (engine oils, car wash liquids, air fresheners, wiper blades), convenience foods (ready-to-eat meals, hot food, snacks, fresh fruits), beverages (coffee, energy drinks, milk, ice creams), alcohol, tobacco products and accessories, household essentials, personal care and pharmacy items, and stationery.

Due to ongoing work demands, we are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Retail Manager to lead the daily operations by joining our workforce on fulltime basis.

**Position Details**:

- **Location**: 36 Trentham Rd, Tylden, Vic
- 3444
- **Work Hours**:Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week, with paid overtime as per applicable award rates. (Full-time)
- **Salary**: $77,000 per year plus superannuation as compensation.

**What we are looking for**:

- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a retail store or related retail environment, with 1-2 years of experience.
- Robust leadership and organizational skills, with experience managing a sizable team.
- Familiarity with rostering, staff management, and reporting processes.
- A customer-focused mindset with the ability to drive a positive in-store experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
- Any relevant qualification (Diploma level or higher), such as in Leadership, Management, Business, etc.
- Experience with overseeing day-to-day operations, including sales, customer service, and inventory management.
- A passionate attitude that inspires the team to exceed goals.
- Experience in developing and implementing performance plans.
- A leadership style with an owner’s mindset.
- Knowledge of specialty retail, including business development, visual merchandising, and store operations.
- Responsible for hiring, training, and supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to company policies.
- Ability to develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and increase profitability.
- Skilled in managing budgets and expenses, ensuring store operations stay within financial guidelines.
- Monitor inventory levels and order products as needed to maintain adequate stock.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including health and safety regulations.

Pay: $77,000.00 per year
