Pol 2 Student Wellbeing Leader (Lalor)

**Role Description/Criteria**

The position is an ongoing Student Wellbeing Leader role with a POL 2.

It is desirable that applicants:

- have highly developed inter-personal skills
- have an understanding and able to lead Positive Behaviours for Learning (PBL) approach
- be able to work as a collaborative team player within our school and throughout our broader school community
- possess the skills and abilities necessary to provide students with a diverse range of evidence based counselling
- be able to lead Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) to engage students in building relationships, and creating a foundation for academic learning
- be able to counsel students using evidence-based interventions individually or in small groups as appropriate to assist them to cope with and overcome difficulties of a personal, emotional, behavioural and/or social nature
