Cheetham Builds is a locally owned business run by a fully qualified carpenter and registered builder. We pride ourselves on high-quality workmanship across all aspects of carpentry, including:

Framing

Lock-up

Fixing

Decking

Pergolas

We’re currently looking for a 1st Year Apprentice Carpenter to join our team. This is a fantastic chance for someone eager to start their career in the building industry and gain hands-on experience with a wide variety of carpentry work.

What we’re looking for:

A positive, enthusiastic attitude

Someone who is motivated, reliable, and keen to learn

Solid work ethic and willingness to work as part of a team

Driver’s licence and reliable transport (preferred but not essential)

Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting with all aspects of carpentry (framing, lock-up, fixing, decking, pergolas, etc.)

Following directions and learning on the job

Maintaining a protected and tidy worksite
