About the Role As a Design Coordinator, you will:
- Support design management activities and facilitate project solutions, advice, and documentation.
- Lead design objectives across multiple projects while ensuring delivery requirements are achieved.
- Work across government, private sector, and Fairbrother’s own developments.
- Ensure compliance with planning requirements, NCC standards, Australian standards, and industry best practices.
- Track multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project needs.
- Collaborate closely with project teams to maintain quality, safety, and client satisfaction. About You We are looking for an individual with:
- Degree in Architecture or relevant tertiary qualification.
- At least 2 years’ commercial construction industry design experience.
- Robust stakeholder engagement and project management skills.
- Knowledge of design trends and proficiency in design documentation review.
- Excellent communication skills — graphic, written, and verbal.
- Strong planning, organisation, and time management abilities.
- A safety-first mindset and a passion for sustainable design.
- Commercial acumen and the ability to work under pressure across multiple projects.
