About the Role Prepare and produce all food and nutritional requirements for patients and staff at the Launceston General Hospital (LGH) Cafeteria & food distribution, delivered meal recipients and satellite divisions. Work as part of a team and independently, maintaining focus on patients' needs in a busy environment. A working knowledge of food safety is preferable. Team & Department The successful applicant will work in a busy team environment focused on delivering excellence in Food Services. LGH Food Services provides meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) to over 300 patients daily. Appointment Details Fixed term, casual day worker, not working weekends but working public holidays, working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for 12 months. Hours may be negotiated. Salary & Benefits Salary range $73,811 to $79,779 per annum. 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Salary package includes living expenses up to $9,010 and meal entertainment of $2,650 per FBT year, plus other eligible benefits.
