Randstad is partnering with a leading commercial construction contractor to recruit experienced tradespeople for major projects across Launceston and Northern Tasmania.

We are seeking skilled and reliable workers for the following roles:

Formwork Carpenters

Steel Fixers

Experienced Construction Labourers

These positions offer long‑term opportunities on large‑scale commercial builds with consistent hours and competitive pay.

Pay Rates

$56.50 per hour — Formwork Carpenters

$54.50 per hour — Steel Fixers & Skilled Labourers

Superannuation + applicable site allowances

Overtime opportunities available

About the Role

You will be working on major commercial construction projects as part of experienced site teams, contributing to the secure and efficient delivery of high‑quality builds.

Typical duties may include:

Formwork installation and concrete preparation

Steel reinforcement placement and tying

General labouring duties

Assisting trades and site supervisors

Maintaining site safety and housekeeping standards

Requirements

Proven experience on commercial construction sites

Relevant trade experience (formwork carpentry)

Valid Construction Induction Card (White Card)

Robust commitment to safety and quality workmanship

Ability to work effectively within a team environment

Reliable transport to access sites
