Service Technician (Tasmania)

Location Perth, WA, AU, ****; Onsite Job Summary We are seeking a Service Technician (Drill Fitter) to join our service team in Perth. The role involves the maintenance and repair of Epiroc surface and underground mining equipment, with a focus on quality and customer support. Responsibilities Develop strong relationships with team members. Carry out specialized repairs, rebuilds and maintenance on Epiroc surface and underground mining equipment and components. Complete complex repairs and refurbishment of specialty equipment with meticulous quality. Provide high-level technical product support to customers. Be self-driven and motivated to deliver exceptional service in component rebuilding, fostering teamwork. Comply with Epiroc and customer SHEQ and WHS requirements. Commit to continuously improving existing work standards and practices. Qualifications Trade qualifications: Mechanical Engineering, Heavy Diesel, Fixed Plant, Auto Electrical or hydraulic trade qualifications or similar. Customer-facing experience. Extensive experience in maintenance of surface and underground mobile mining equipment, hydraulic repairs, diagnostics and low-voltage electrical repairs. Experience with preventative and breakdown maintenance. Heavy mobile plant equipment rebuilds. Basic computer skills for report writing and documentation. Proven ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and fault-find complex electrical, mechanical and hydraulic problems. Experience with Epiroc surface and underground products is highly regarded.
