Maintenance Shift Fitter (Tasmania)

Compensation $140,****** per annum plus Superannuation. Permanent opportunity, five weeks annual leave. Role Overview We are currently looking for a Mechanical Fitter who will play a vital part in ensuring our assets in Balcatta are optimised to provide the best possible products from a mechanical perspective, ensuring our machinery is maintained so that our plant can run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This is a full-time position, working a 12-hour rotating shift, in a team with a focus on coaching and mentoring, with a competitive salary. Qualifications Australian-recognised mechanical trade qualification Previous experience in a food manufacturing workplace will be highly regarded Ability and confidence to work effectively without supervision Experience with computerised preventative maintenance programmes Good planning, time management and communication skills Strong commitment to health and safety standards Extensive knowledge and use of fault-finding techniques within an automated production plant Experience performing work in accordance with relevant Australian Standards, quality and environmental measurements (e.g., AS****, ISO ****, QMS, food safety systems such as HACCP, RMA) Benefits Employee rewards programme Various health and wellbeing discounts (private health, hotels, gyms) Employee assistance programme Free product to consume on-site Subsidised coffee barista on-site Apply To apply for this role, please submit a CV and covering letter that best shows your relevant skills and experience.
