Security Officer- Retail (Launceston)

As a Retail Security Officer, you’ll be a visible and approachable presence deterring theft, supporting staff and customers, and responding to incidents with confidence and professionalism.

Working hours for this role are **Mon
- Fri, 11:30am
- 5:30pm & Saturday, 12pm-5pm**

**About The Role**
- Monitor foot traffic and deter theft or suspicious behaviour
- Support retail staff during difficult customer interactions
- Conduct regular patrols and maintain a visible presence in-store
- Operate surveillance, alarm, and access control systems
- Liaise with centre management and emergency services where necessary
- Complete accurate daily shift and incident reports

**About You**
- Valid TAS Security Licence
- Nationally recognised First Aid Certificate
- Previous experience in retail security or loss prevention
- Experience using CCTV or incident reporting tools
