Qualified Chef (Launceston)

We are seeking a qualified Chef to join our dedicated and passionate crew in the kitchen at Mudbar Restaurant for an immediate start. Mudbar restaurant is well known as a local favourite and has outstanding customer service. We offer the very best in Tasmanian produce to our customers and we constantly work at improving customer experience. We have a great supportive team of diverse people to help you be the best you can be both in the workplace and in your personal life. The successful candidate will require:
- Have a keen interest in all thing's hospitality.
- Possess a professional attitude towards work.
- Adore Tasmanian local produce.
- Can efficiently and effectively follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.
- Believe the customer should always come first.
- Experience in food preparation in a commercial kitchen / similar role.
- Practical understanding of health, safety, and hygiene in a kitchen environment, including safe food handling, storage, and manual handling techniques. (HACCP Compliance)
- Are excited to be part of an evolving workplace.
- Have a understanding of the FIFO standards of food
