MSS Security is seeking Aviation Protection Officers to join our team at Devonport Airport. As an Aviation Protection Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of passengers, staff and airport operations. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Conduct security screening for passengers, staff and visitors.
- Operate security technology and systems, including metal detectors, x-ray machines and explosive trace detection tests to identify potential risks or prohibited items.
- Perform scans and thorough bag searches when necessary to ensure compliance with aviation security regulations.
- Monitor and patrol airport premises.
- Provide a high standard of customer service to passengers, staff and visitors. Requirements:
- Full Australian working rights.
- Ability to obtain an ASIC.
- Ability to undergo and pass a medical assessment (including drug and alcohol testing).
- Strong customer service skills.
