- Excellent Problem-Solving Skills
- Proficiency in Access Control, CCTV and Alarms
- Understanding of legislation around electronic security and monitoring
- Highly organised individual with an eye for detail and good time management
- Customer focus mindset
- Understanding of performing security installations in accordance with Australian Building Codes and Australian Standards
- Works well within a team and autonomously

Your Electronic Security Technician day to day duties will include:

- Advise on, and install, electronic security systems as required
- Perform routine maintenance, testing on these systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance with Australian and Tasmanian regulations
- Provide technical support to other members of the security team and collaborate with external vendors
- Keep accurate records of security system maintenance, repairs, and upgrades
- Diagnose malfunctions of electronic security systems for the purpose of identifying repair/replacement needs necessary to maintain systems
