Expression of Interest – Cleaner Opportunities Mowbray Racecourse Tasracing is currently seeking Expressions of Interest from motivated, reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team at Mowbray Racecourse in cleaning roles. We are looking to appoint: 1 x Permanent Part-Time Cleaner
- 15 hours per week
- Monday, Tuesday and Saturday
- 5-hour shifts
- Early morning starts required Casual Cleaners
- Shifts available as required across a 7-day roster
- Additional relief shifts may become available from time to time
- Early morning starts required Reporting to the Track Manager, these roles are responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment across office, staff and public areas throughout the racecourse facilities, including greyhound kennel areas. Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning offices, kitchens, lunchrooms and common areas
- Cleaning staff and public amenities
- Cleaning greyhound kennel areas and associated facilities
- Cleaning windows, glass, floors, doors, walls and other surfaces
- Secure handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and hazardous substances
- Identifying and reporting hazards, maintenance issues and incidents
- Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times About You To be successful in these roles, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices
- Experience using commercial cleaning equipment and products
- Experience handling and storing cleaning chemicals safely
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work
- Reliability and the ability to work independently
