Production Operator (Hobart) (Tasmania)

Opportunity to be working in both warehouse and production setting. Permanent full-time role with excellent career and growth opportunities. 12-hour shifts, 6 days on

About the Role Our Lenah Valley site in Hobart manufactures a range of more than 50 milk, milk-based and cream products, with all products made from fresh milk sourced directly from Tasmanian dairy farms. The site currently produces around 33 million litres of product every year, operating 6 days a week and employing around 50 people. This role operates on 12-hour shifts: 6 days on
- 7 days off. The candidate is required to start early anywhere from 3:30 AM, 4:30 AM or 7:30 AM depending on the line they are assigned to. Responsibilities
- Operating machinery, including machine setting and fault finding.
- Pasteurising experience highly preferred.
- Warehouse duties including operating a forklift.
- Recording/Reporting of production data
- including completing downtime sheets.
- Ensuring production areas are cleaned up to quality standards.
- Adhering to company safety and quality policies and procedures. About you
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- Forklift license is highly desirable.
- Positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
- Self-starter and proactive nature.
