We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Casual OSHC Educators to join our team in the Melbourne's Outer Western Suburbs. This role will involve working across our services located at: SALTWATER P-9 COLLEGE Before School Care: 6:20 AM
- 8:20 AM After School Care: 2:40 PM
- 6:30 PM TARNEIT RISE PRIMARY SCHOOL Before School Care: 6:30 AM
- 8:45 AM After School Care: 3:10
- 6:30 AM About the Role As an OSHC Educator, you will play an important role in creating a positive experience for children before school, after school and during vacation care programmes. Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising and engaging children in fun, educational and recreational activities
- Leading games, sports, arts, crafts and cooking experiences
- Assisting with planning age-appropriate programmes
- Setting up and packing down activities and food service areas
- Maintaining a safe, inclusive and supportive environment
- Following company policies, procedures and compliance requirements
- Building positive relationships with children, families, schools and team members About You You are energetic, caring and passionate about working with children. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are committed to providing quality care. Essential Requirements
- Valid Working With Children Check (VIC)
- Experience in OSHC or childcare (highly regarded)
- Currently studying towards or holding an ACECQA approved qualification
- Availability for morning and afternoon split shifts
- National Police Check (within 6 months) or willingness to obtain
- Full Australian working rights
