Roles and Responsibilities:

Checking the quality of raw materials and weighing ingredients.

Using weights and measures to weigh the correct amount of ingredients for

recipes.

Operating machines for rolling, Rounding ,hand moulding dough.

Emptying, cleaning, and greasing baking trays, tins, and other cooking

equipment.

Job Description of Baker

Kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing, and shaping dough and pastry

goods.

Glazing buns and pastries, and decorating cakes with cream and icing.

Preparing pastry fillings.

Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations by

checking equipment and premises cleanliness before production runs.

Monitoring oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking

times.

Coordinating the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning, and cooling of

batches of bread, rolls, and pastry products.

Using baker’s ovens, moulders, cutters, starters, and associated

personal protective equipment during the course of the day.

Packaging finished products for distribution or sale.

Maintaining inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed.

Assisting with menu planning and developing recent recipes.

Pay: $72,000.00
- $76,000.00 per year
