Hours Per Week: 38 Requisition ID: REQ658704 Location: Randwick Applications Close: Midnight on 23 May 2026 Role Overview The Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) will deliver, coordinate and evaluate clinical education to support staff capability and optimise patient outcomes in a paediatric critical care environment. Working collaboratively with the Nurse Manager, Nurse Educator, Clinical Nurse Consultants and multidisciplinary team, you will design and deliver targeted education aligned with intensive care practice and core nursing competencies. The role includes bedside teaching, mentorship, competency assessment and promotion of evidence‑based practice, with opportunities to support education initiatives across the organisation. Qualifications
- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Relevant clinical or education post‑registration qualifications or such education and clinical experience deemed appropriate by the employer
- Demonstrated effective clinical teaching skills
- Demonstrated commitment to clinical and professional development
- Demonstrated advanced written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge and understanding of NSQHS Standards relating to education
