About the Opportunity As a Registered Nurse in our FlexConnect pool, you will provide a high standard of clinical care to our aged‑care residents across our services, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life. Compensation & Hours
- Competitive rates up to $54.19 per hour, depending on experience, penalties, super, casual loading.
- Flexible shifts to suit availability, up to 76 hours per fortnight.
- Casual role with a view to permanent placement.
- Currently travelling across services in the Greater Sydney region. What You’ll Be Doing in This Role
- Serve as a clinical leader, developing, delivering and evaluating resident care plans to meet individual needs.
- Provide sharp clinical assessment skills and lead clinical services such as wound management, medication management and palliative care.
- Assist the clinical management team with AN‑ACC documentation and assessments.
- Liaise with medical and allied health professionals and residents’ family members to advocate for clients’ quality of life.
- Supervise and support Care Workers.
- Practice holistically, using critical decision‑making skills to lead the team. Who We’re Looking For
- Previous registered nursing experience in aged or community care, or a passion to begin a career in aged care if you have nursing experience in the wider health sector.
- Adaptable, empathetic, resourceful, a great time manager, and able to live Uniting’s everyday values of compassion, respect, imagination and boldness.
- Commitment to contemporary aged‑care nursing practice.
