About the Opportunity
As a Registered Nurse in our FlexConnect pool, you will provide a high standard of clinical care to our aged‑care residents across our services, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life.
Compensation & Hours
Competitive rates up to $54.19 per hour, depending on experience, penalties, super, casual loading.
Flexible shifts to suit availability, up to 76 hours per fortnight.
Casual role with a view to permanent placement.
Currently travelling across services in the Greater Sydney region.
What You’ll Be Doing in This Role
Serve as a clinical leader, developing, delivering and evaluating resident care plans to meet individual needs.
Provide sharp clinical assessment skills and lead clinical services such as wound management, medication management and palliative care.
Assist the clinical management team with AN‑ACC documentation and assessments.
Liaise with medical and allied health professionals and residents’ family members to advocate for clients’ quality of life.
Supervise and support Care Workers.
Practice holistically, using critical decision‑making skills to lead the team.
Who We’re Looking For
Previous registered nursing experience in aged or community care, or a passion to begin a career in aged care if you have nursing experience in the wider health sector.
Adaptable, empathetic, resourceful, a outstanding time manager, and able to live Uniting’s everyday values of compassion, respect, imagination and boldness.
Commitment to contemporary aged‑care nursing practice.
Holding a nursing degree with current AHPRA registration.
