Senior Finance Manager (Leichhardt)

About the Role We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Senior Finance Manager to lead the financial management and strategic financial operations of our private hospital network. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this role is instrumental in driving financial performance, governance and operational excellence. You will partner closely with Hospital Directors, senior and corporate management to deliver accurate financial reporting, optimise revenue streams, improve systems and processes and support strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities
· Lead the hospital group financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
· Ensure accurate and timely reporting to support strategic decision-making.
· Oversee revenue management, including health fund claims, Medicare and private billing.
· Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation requirements, healthcare regulations and internal governance frameworks.
· Provide leadership and development for the finance team while partnering with Hospital Directors and operational leaders to improve financial performance and accountability.
· Drive continuous improvement across finance operations, systems, and reporting processes, including supporting digital transformation, AI and technology initiatives. About You Essential
- CPA or CA qualified with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- 5+ years’ experience in a senior finance leadership role.
- Strong experience within the Australian private healthcare or hospital sector.
- Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, healthcare funding, and financial modelling. Desirable
- Experience in private hospital or multi-site healthcare environments.
- Knowledge of healthcare accreditation and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with business intelligence and data analytics tools.
- Exposure to strategic planning and capital project evaluation.
- Experience with ERP and healthcare management systems.Experience with ERP systems (preferably TOne) and healthcare management systems (WebPAS). What We Offer
