About Rose Cottage Child Care Centre
At Rose Cottage Child Care Centre, we believe children have a right to a choice when it comes to their learning. The basis of our curriculum is child-led, play-based learning embedded into our daily practice. The Role
We are looking to welcome a dedicated and experienced Child Care Worker to join our friendly and supportive team. Our centre features age-specific learning environments with an open, intimate feeling. Our playgrounds and resources are designed to facilitate interactive learning and ensure a fun, engaging time for our children.
Key Duties Assisting in the planning and implementation of an educational program which values a holistic view of each child's development. Maintaining ongoing records of the children's development, program participation, and daily information. Assisting with daily room tasks, such as activity preparation and meal times. Assuring the high quality of services in consideration of the National Quality Standards. Ensuring strict compliance with all relevant Government Regulations and centre policies.
Requirements of the Role Must have at least 2 years of experience as a child care worker or in a similar position. Solid understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). Valid Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) Number. A genuine passion for early childhood education and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
