About the role The Grants Advisor will secure vital funding for programs and services across NSW, coordinating grant submissions and ensuring compliance with internal processes. Responsibilities
- Conduct research to identify suitable grant and funding prospects using a grants management system and CRM.
- Maintain accurate records of grant and submission activities.
- Build a solid understanding of Vinnies programs, services, and locations to align funding opportunities.
- Prepare, write, and submit successful funding applications in a persuasive style.
- Develop and maintain a repository of organisational, capability, and program content to streamline grant writing.
- Follow internal approvals processes, including pre‑submission approvals and ensure adequate review time with managers and stakeholders.
- Contribute to grant acquittals to meet reporting requirements. Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in communications, research, writing, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience writing successful grant submissions and securing grant funding.
- Strong research, writing, and persuasive communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a range of internal stakeholders.
- Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and deadline‑driven. Benefits
