This role is suited to a commercially focused accountant with strong management reporting, financial analysis, and team leadership experience who is ready to contribute strategically while remaining operationally involved when required. Duties and Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Preparing accurate monthly financial and management reports, including profit and loss statements across multiple operating divisions.
- Providing financial analysis and strategic reporting to Directors and senior management, including profitability analysis, service delivery performance, cost-saving opportunities, operational bottlenecks, and business improvement recommendations.
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and capital planning activities associated with business expansion.
- Supervising and supporting the accounting team, including internal accounting staff and external consultants.
- Monitoring and improving accounting systems, financial processes, payroll operations, invoicing, and accounts receivable functions to improve efficiency and reporting accuracy.
- Ensuring timely and accurate financial information is available to management and division leaders.
- Participating in senior management meetings and contributing to strategic planning and business performance discussions.
- Assisting with ongoing development and scalability of accounting functions to support organisational growth.
- Working collaboratively across multiple business divisions and stakeholders to support operational and financial objectives. Essential Requirements Applicants must demonstrate:
- A relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in an accounting role.
- Experience preparing management reports and providing financial analysis to senior management or Directors.
- Strong communication, organisational, and team leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Experience using accounting and financial management software systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Desirable
- Experience in the healthcare sector, including NDIS, Home Care Packages (HCP), or related community services programs.
- Experience working within multi-division or growing organisations. Location This position is based in Welshpool, Western Australia. Job Type: Full time Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year Ability to commute/relocate:
