About the Role
- Fixed Term, Part Time (EFT 0.6) Bayside Health
- Regional Care Group is seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Nurse to join our Urgent Care team at Leongatha Memorial Hospital. The role involves delivering patient‑centred nursing care, providing timely assessment, intervention and evaluation for individuals presenting with a wide range of acute and urgent health concerns. Responsibilities include recognising normal and abnormal clinical findings, offering support and comfort, maintaining clear communication with the nurse in charge, participating in interdisciplinary care planning, upholding professional boundaries, and responding promptly to patient issues. Responsibilities
- Provide patient‑centred nursing care, including assessment, intervention and evaluation of individual health and functional status.
- Collaborate with medical, nursing and allied health colleagues to deliver integrated care.
- Monitor the impact of nursing care and maintain ongoing communication with the nurse in charge regarding health and functional status.
- Proactively and accurately identify situations requiring assistance from other staff or medical staff and act accordingly. Qualifications & Requirements
- Registered with AHPRA.
- Tertiary qualifications as a Registered Nurse.
- Valid Police Check within 12 months of issue date.
- Current Victorian Driver’s Licence.
- Entitlement to work within Australia.
- Seasonal influenza vaccination in accordance with Secretary, Department of Health Directions. We are seeking a nurse who:

- Conducts oneself in a professional manner at all times.
