- Base salary $119,943 + 11.5% superannuation

Be part of our Infrastructure Maintenance team as Coordinator of Routine Maintenance, where you will lead a targeted and responsive approach to Council's road network defects.
Through effective coordination and management, this role plays a key role in the delivery of routine and scheduled road and associated infrastructure maintenance services, to ensure they remain in a functional condition, meet community needs and support sustainable infrastructure outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate the Routine Maintenance program as per Council's Road and Asset Management Plans;
- Develop solutions to network challenges relating to road and drainage maintenance;
- Contribute to continuous improvement of road maintenance practices and principles;
- Lead, develop and support your team to deliver service excellence;
- Coordinate staff and resources in response to storm or emergency events;
- Develop and monitor budgets, including forecasts, variances and adjustments;
- Build and maintain a productive relationship with internal and external stakeholders;
- Collaborate with the department's Coordinator cohort, fostering a positive workplace culture.

To be successful you will ideally have:
- Diploma of Civil Construction Management or equivalent qualification and/or extensive experience in Road and Drainage maintenance or related fields;
- Diploma of Leadership and Management and/or Diploma of Project Management or similar;
- Experience in team leadership and driving performance and productivity;
- Ability to work as part of the Coordinator cohort and share resources;
- High level of problem solving and decision making skills;
- Research and analytical skills;
- Highly developed communication, conflict and negotiation skills;
- Experience in contract management, budgets, tender evaluation;
- Good written communication and report writing skills.
