We are on the hunt for a outstanding Mechanical Engineering Technician. To be responsible for:

- Prepare drawings, plans and designs for mechanical engineering work under the direction of Mechanical Engineers and Engineering Technologists
- Assist Mechanical Engineers and Engineering Technologists in the design of mechanical equipment and plant
- Assemble and install new and modified mechanical assemblies, components, machine tools and controls, and hydraulic power systems
- Estimating material costs and quantities, and machine requirements
- Organising and supervising inspection and maintenance of machines and plant
- Ensuring that designs and finished work are within specifications, regulations and contract provisions
- Provide technical and sales support for capillary coil unit
- Maintain and develop maintenance schedule for all Slickline and Wireline equipment
- Assist in design and improvement of hydraulic equipment across all product lines
- Assist in the upkeep and maintenance of all black diamond equipment in usage/storage
- Assist Mechanic in Maintaining, repairing and manufacturing all systems, hydraulic / pneumatic / diesel / electrical.
- Assist team in Design mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems
- Assist team to Prepare & draft system schematics
- Assist team to Prepare & draft 2d & 3d engineering drawings for 3rd party manufacturing requirements

To be successful in this role you will need to meet the following criteria:

- At least 5 years of proven experience as a Mechanical Engineering Technician
- Experience in Hydraulics and Capillary Coil
- Working knowledge of pneumatic plants

Pay: $110,000.00
- $120,000.00 per year
