About The Role Reporting to the A Shift Electrical Supervisor North Yard, you will be responsible for the development, execution and closeout of improvement projects on electrical fixed plant equipment, processes and documentation. Your Duties Will Include
- Contributing to our safety and continuous improvement culture, BHP Operating Systems (BOS), by demonstrating a commitment to high standards of execution within your trade
- Maintain a high-level working knowledge of safety processes
- Inspection, servicing, adjustment, troubleshooting and repair of all plant and infrastructure equipment
- Have a sound understanding of maintenance management standards
- Work effectively with other maintenance and production team members, including contractors
- Proficiency with computer‑based planning systems, ideally 1SAP & Fiori
- Ensure that all documentation and data entry is accurately completed
- Ensure adequate application of corrective work to facilitate the Planning Process
- Monitoring of asset integrity and compliance to statutory maintenance & inspection requirements About You
- Australia recognised Electrical Licence
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Well-developed understanding of the operation and maintenance of Fixed Plant equipment
- Experience working in Iron Ore Processing Plant is highly desirable
- Ability to work well within a team to achieve outcomes
- Motivated who can work with minimal supervision
