THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity for a Production Supervisor to join our team on a Full time basis (24-hour Plant

Rotating Roster in a12h shift, 4 days on/4 days off). This chance will come with training and development opportunities to kickstart your career.

The key responsibilities of this role will be to:

Lead our dedicated team of Production Operators in the production of Gyprock, Cornice, Plasters & Compounds products.

Ensure that all employees are working within the safety requirements of their roles, raising hazards and reporting incidents.

Ensure quality monitoring requirements are met and within specifications.

Process improvement initiatives implemented.

Manage personnel on shift including rostering and training.

Minimise plant downtime and maximise efficiency (during delays, changeovers & maintenance days).

Co-ordinate's after-hours maintenance call outs

Monthly toolbox meetings covering all manufacturing employees.

All reporting requirements completed on time.

Maintenance work requests raised and followed up on.

Follow up on any issues raised on previous shift.

Responsible for gypsum shipments into the shed.
