Role Description

Reporting directly to the Procurement & Production Manager, in a small team. Areas of responsibility comprise:

Review procurement, inventory, demand planning and distribution data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities

Assess performance of suppliers, warehouses, carriers and internal operations against KPIs

Work with cross-functional teams (Warehouse, Procurement, Sales) to coordinate improvements in our purchasing, storage, production scheduling and/or logistics

Map supply-chain processes and pinpoint inefficiencies, bottlenecks or excessive cost drivers for action

Design and recommend changes to supply-chain strategies, policies and workflows

Develop /improve on tools, dashboards and forecasting models to support better visibility, planning and decision-making across end-to-end replenishment and delivery

Evaluate freight routing, carrier performance and delivery metrics to improve cost-to-serve and OTIF outcomes

Contribute to logistics capacity planning and support network optimisation initiatives

Support business cases that target cost reductions, improved availability and enhanced customer outcomes

Profile of Successful Applicant

Bachelor degree or higher qualification in logistics, supply chain, business, commerce, or related field

Understanding of delivery networks, warehouse operations and supply chain fundamentals, as well as experience in these fields

Additional Supply-chain certifications (e.g. APICS/ASCM) advantageous

Excellent verbal and written communication.

Robust administrative skills, organised and with good attention to detail

A solid team player with the willingness to be hands on when required

Advanced numeric and computer skills, including MS Excel pivot tables

Food / Grocery experience is preferred

Pay: $76,600.00
- $85,000.00 per year
