About Us: Eptec delivers across a diverse range of industry sectors, including transport and infrastructure. Recent projects undertaken by the Eptec include Peats Ferry Bridge, Hawkesbury River Railway Bridge, Brisbane Cross River Rail, Sydney Metro Trains, Hobart Class Air Warfare Destroyers (AWDs), Offshore Patrol Vessels (OPVs), Collins Class Submarine Full Cycle Dockings (FCDs) in South Australia. About the role: We are seeking safety focused Trade Assistants for an immediate start, with ongoing opportunities across Greater Sydney, based out of our Regents Park location.This is a hands on role supporting site crews, not just driving, so you’ll be actively involved in day to day operations. An HR licence is essential, and we’re looking for candidates who are practical and keen to learn. Training and development will be provided, with opportunities to gain additional tickets and progress within the role. Key Responbilties:
- Assist with general site maintenance and labouring duties across projects
- Support crews with manual handling tasks and day to day site operations
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Assist in the rectification or replacement of damaged sewer vent shafts
- Perform cutting, grinding, and removal of vent structures
- Carry out touch-up painting and minor concrete repairs
- Support activities involving scaffolding, EWP access, rigging, and crane operations Required Skills and Experience:
- HR Licence (essential)
- Experience in construction, industrial, or trade assistant roles (highly regarded)
- Practical and mechanically minded with a strong willingness to learn
- Ability to use hand and power tools confidently
- White Card (OHS Card) required
- High Risk Work Licences (e.g. EWP >11m, rigging, scaffolding) – desirable or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including D&A; screening
