Instrumental Teacher (Lidcombe)

**Piano, Violin, Viola, Cello, Singing Teachers**

Viva Music Academy is seeking professional and committed Piano, Violin, and Viola, Cello and Singing teachers to join our growing team. We are an established, high-performing studio with over 100 active students, and we are looking for educators who uphold high teaching standards, communicate clearly with parents, and want to build a long-term role with us.

We currently have demand for teachers who are available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday afternoons who are wanting to build a consistent caseload.

**Requirements**: **Qualifications**
- AMEB / ABRSM teaching experience
- AMusA, LMusA, or equivalent diploma-level qualification
- Violin/Viola teachers must hold equivalent string performance qualifications
- Bachelor of Music or equivalent from a recognised university
- Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or valid long-term work rights

**Teaching & Skilled Skills**
- Experience teaching children and teenagers
- Confident preparing students for AMEB/ABRSM exams, concerts, and Eisteddfods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Punctual, organised, and professionally presented
- Available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, afternoons from 3pm
- Open to early-career teachers who are motivated, coachable, and committed to development

**Responsibilities**:

- Teach private piano/violin/viola lessons across a range of ages and levels
- _For string teachers:_ Teach small-group beginner/intermediate string classes as needed
- Prepare students for AMEB/ABRSM exams, concerts, and Eisteddfods
- Assist with running student concerts and studio events
- Submit one short (15-30 sec) weekly lesson clip to showcase student progress for Viva’s social media
- Communicate clearly with parents and admin regarding progress and expectations
- Arrive early, prepared, and professionally presented for every lesson
