Finance Manager (Regents Park)

The company is looking for an experienced and commercially astute Finance Manager, this could be your opportunity to join us. About the role Key responsibilities: Your focus will be overseeing the financial operations of the business. This role plays a critical part in supporting strategic decision-making, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving financial performance within a manufacturing workplace. Key responsibilities will be (not limited to):
- Plan, organise, direct, control and coordinate the financial and accounting activities of the company
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans aligned with business objectives
- Prepare accurate financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis
- Monitor purchase costs, inventory valuation, and cost of goods sold (COGS)
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve operational efficiency and profitability
- Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards, tax regulations, and relevant industry requirements (including TGA where applicable)
- Manage internal controls, risk management processes, and financial governance
- Oversee payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger functions
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies
- Support senior management with strategic planning, investment decisions, and business expansion initiatives Key requirements:
- Bachelor degree or higher in finance, accounting or a related field
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in similar role.
- Great attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management
- Advanced financial analysis and reporting skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
