Design Coordinator Yarra Ranges Shire

Responsibilities

Act as the link between architects, engineers, consultants, and construction teams.

Ensure design intent aligns with project scope, budget, and timeline.

Facilitate design reviews, approvals, and value engineering.

Manage regulatory compliance, including Australian Standards, and local council requirements.

Coordinate and manage design documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Support tendering and procurement by reviewing design elements.

Work with the construction team to resolve design issues onsite.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, such as construction management, architecture, design.

Main Contractor Building experience with a commercial builder.

Experience working on complex and challenging projects.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Robust project management and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
