About the Position We are looking for a high-quality teacher to join our enthusiastic, close-knit primary team. The position is a Term 4, full-time parental leave cover contract for a Grade 2 class and may offer an opportunity to continue into 2027, depending on staffing arrangements. Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Have the appropriate VIT registration and qualifications.
- Be a Christian role model and demonstrate an active faith to students and all people associated with the school.
- Lead student devotions and provide an example of active Christian faith in response to devotions, curriculum and other class discussions.
- Actively support and adhere to the School’s vision, mission and ethos.
- Have a strong knowledge of and commitment to child safety principles and be willing to commit to ongoing learning in this area.
- Take practical measures to ensure that the School’s child protection policies are implemented and upheld, contributing to a strong child protection culture. Child Safety As a child-safe school we promote the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children, including those with disability. We have zero tolerance for child abuse and expect all staff to contribute proactively to a culture of child safety.
