This is a great opportunity for qualified teachers who enjoy swimming, love working with children, who want to teach the skills of swimming and the value of water safety.

**The Role**

Jack Hort Memorial Pool is looking for energetic, confident and motivated people to join our Swim School team.

The **Swim Teacher** delivers swimming lessons to a wide variety of ages and abilities. Successful applicants will be effective communicators who demonstrate a strong attention to detail.

You will possess strong time management and organisational skills, as well as the ability to work well in a team setting with mínimal supervision. Relevant industry qualifications are essential.

Skills & Attributes:

- Energetic, innovative and decisive teaching style
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends and must be empathetic to the needs of the classes
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as a strong and valuable part of the team

**Qualifications**:

- Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
- Working With Children Check (or equivalent) & National Police Check
- Current AUSTSWIM Certificate
- or equivalent
