**A Cire Teacher**

Cire Community School is a leader in delivering innovative programs to students from years Prep to 12 who have disengaged from education and offers an alternative to mainstream schooling. With growing campuses in Yarra Junction, Lilydale, Monbulk and Berwick, Cire is seeking amazing Teachers to work with some of the most vulnerable and marginalised young people.

Reporting to the Campus Principal, our Teachers support students to re-engage with education through the development and delivery of agile and engaging learning materials and activities. Working closely with wellbeing specialists and learning assistants, Teachers support our students in achieving positive learning outcomes and pathways to further education and employment.

**This position is 0.8 Part Time position 4 days a week (Mon -Thu)**

**About you**

**As an experienced Teacher, you:

- Are a four-year qualified teacher with current VIT registration
- Are passionate about working with young people who have disengaged from mainstream education
- Have the ability to support students to re-engage with their education and the passion to persist despite any obstacles
- Understand a trauma informed approach to learning
- Have the ability to form and positive relationships with young people and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability on a daily basis
- Are willing to undertake certifications including a national police check
