Location: Lilydale Hours: Casual (progression opportunities available) Pay: $33 to $40 per hour, depending on experience and role. Jim’s Removals and Storage is hiring drivers and offsiders. If you’re fit, reliable, and keen to work, we want to hear from you. What's Involved:
- Moving furniture and boxes
- Loading / unloading the truck
- Working in a 2-3 man crew
- Customer-facing (must be polite and professional)
- Driving 4.5 and 10T trucks around Melbourne (training provided, with sponsorship for MR license available) Work Requirements
- Reliable and on time
- Valuable attitude and work ethic
- Can take feedback and work as a team
- Physically fit (strength and endurance are both important)
- Good attention to detail (no damage/shortcuts) Removalist experience preferred but not necessary. Pay & Progression: We provide comprehensive on-the-job training, with the goal of developing offsiders/truck jockey's into truck operators over time (typically over a period of 2-3 months with consistent training). Current pay rates
- Offsider (no removals/driving experience): $33/hr
- Operator (can drive and run a 4.5T truck): $36/hr
- Operator with MR licence: $40/hr We actively support long-term team members in progressing their career, including sponsorship toward obtaining an MR/HR licence for suitable operators. Driving Requirements You must have the following:
