Design Coordinator (Yarra Ranges Shire)

Responsibilities
- Act as the link between architects, engineers, consultants, and construction teams.
- Ensure design intent aligns with project scope, budget, and timeline.
- Facilitate design reviews, approvals, and value engineering.
- Manage regulatory compliance, including Australian Standards, and local council requirements.
- Coordinate and manage design documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support tendering and procurement by reviewing design elements.
- Work with the construction team to resolve design issues onsite. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, such as construction management, architecture, design.
- Main Contractor Building experience with a commercial builder.
- Experience working on complex and challenging projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Advantages
