Synergie Australia is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative for a Service Centre based in Ballina, NSW. The important parts:
- Pay: $37.39 per hour Super | ⏳ Duration: 6‑month contract, with possibility of extension
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:45am–5:15pm | 35 hrs per week
- Location: Ballina Service Centre (onsite role) What you will be required to do: This is a front‑facing customer service role in a busy Service Centre, supporting customers with a wide range of government services.
- Deliver qualified face‑to‑face customer service
- Assist customers with both routine and complex transactions
- Build rapport quickly and take ownership of customer enquiries
- Work across multiple systems to process transactions accurately
- Manage high customer volumes in a fast‑paced environment
- Handle confidential and sensitive information in line with policies
- Work collaboratively with a supportive and experienced team to maintain service flow To be successful in the role you will:
- Have 2–3 years’ experience in customer service (retail, call centre, administration or office‑based roles)
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bring a strong customer focus, empathy and attention to detail
- Be reliable, adaptable and comfortable handling pressure
- Have intermediate computer skills, including typing and Microsoft Outlook & Teams
- Be confident learning new systems and working across multiple platforms
- Previous government experience is desirable but not required What’s on offer for you:
