Housing Operations Manager Location: Lismore and Tweed Heads (50% office attendance required) Employment type: Ongoing Full-time Salary: Clerk Grade 11/12 $149,739 to $173,174 plus superannuation and leave loading Your role: Join Homes NSW in a leadership role where you’ll manage complex projects, lead a high‑performing team and build strong stakeholder relationships to deliver strategic housing outcomes. This is an opportunity to shape service delivery, drive business improvement and contribute to better housing and homelessness responses for communities across NSW. What You’ll Do
- Lead the delivery of complex projects and business priorities, while managing resources, budgets, staffing and operational activities to achieve strategic objectives.
- Provide leadership and operational direction, develop evidence‑based advice for senior executives, and build productive relationships with internal teams, districts, clusters, community stakeholders and non‑government partners.
- Coach and develop staff, support sound financial and business planning, and help create an accountable, outcome‑focused culture that responds to complex and sensitive issues with professionalism and care.
- Work with committed teams across Homes NSW in a team-oriented, fast‑paced environment focused on improving housing outcomes, strengthening partnerships and delivering better services for the people and communities we support. What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience leading teams, managing operations or projects, and delivering outcomes in complex service, program or policy environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to provide clear advice and build trusted relationships across government and community partners.
- Demonstrated capability in planning, resource management and financial oversight, with a focus on continuous improvement and accountability.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience, with a commitment to professional development and high‑quality public service delivery. Benefits
