The team is looking for a skilled Guest House Manager to lead operations, enhance service standards, and drive overall guest experience, ensuring the motel continues to operate at its highest potential.
Location: Casino, NSW Annual Salary range: $70,000
- $90,000 (depending on skills and experience) Role: Full-time Key responsibilities & duties: ·Oversee the daily operations of the motel, ensuring smooth workflow operations and maintaining high standards of guest service. ·Develop and implement operational procedures and service standards to maintain consistent quality. ·Monitor and manage budgets, control costs, and optimise revenue through effective pricing strategies and resource allocation. ·Plan and implement marketing and promotional initiatives to attract new guests, retain repeat customers, and enhance overall business performance. ·Analyse guest feedback and implement improvements to elevate the overall guest experience across all services. ·Prepare and analyse reports on occupancy, revenue, staffing, and operational performance for senior management to inform strategic decisions. ·Coordinate with external service providers, contractors, and vendors to support smooth operations and service delivery across multiple areas. ·Manage and supervise staff across reception, housekeeping, and maintenance, including hiring, training, and performance monitoring. ·Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and amenities, ensuring timely procurement, stock control, and minimal wastage. ·Coordinate guest bookings, check-ins, check-outs, and handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally. ·Ensure compliance with workplace regulations, food safety, and hospitality industry standards in day-to-day operations. Qualifications and Work experience: ·Minimum Diploma in Hospitality/Hotel Management, or relevant work experience as a substitute ·Minimum 1 year of work experience in a relevant role ·Minimum 1 year of Australian work experience is essential Skills required: ·Proven ability to provide exceptional guest experience ·Skilled in leading multi-department teams in a hospitality setting ·Attentive to operational details ·Strong financial oversight, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimisation ·Experienced in handling guest concerns, resolving conflicts, and maintaining positive relationships Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.
