We are searching for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to work within our clients tasty food manufacturing operation in Moorebank.

What will you be doing?

Maintain balance between throughput, quality, safety and cost of repairs

Ensure that productivity and efficiency in production is maximized with minimum disruption the site

Monitor equipment to identify possible breakdown and repair

Assist in developing and introducing improved engineering methods throughout the plant while maintaining ISO 9002, HACCP and GMP standards

Maintain documentation as required

Ensure the workshop and associated areas are maintained and clean, this includes any and all areas worked in

What do you need?

Trade Certificate: Fitting and Machining or other relevant Mechanical Qualifications.

Competent welder using TIG / MIG / Stick/ Oxy Acetylene.

Competent using Lathe, milling and radial drill machines.

Restricted Electrical License preferable with basic electrical knowledge.

Basic Computer Skills: Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
