Civil Engineer (Moorebank)

Knight Civil Pty Ltd is a Sydney-based civil construction company specializing in roadworks, pavements, drainage, and public domain infrastructure projects for government and commercial clients. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to join our team in a full time Civil Site Engineer role.

**Salary**: $85,000
- $90,000 per year + superannuation (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, design and oversee civil engineering projects including roadworks, pavements, drainage systems, and associated infrastructure
- Analyze engineering drawings, specifications, and geotechnical data to determine construction methodologies and material requirements
- Prepare cost estimates, project schedules, and resource plans to support project delivery
- Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with engineering standards, specifications, and Australian regulations
- Identify and resolve engineering issues arising during construction through technical assessment and problem-solving
- Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks to ensure works meet design and safety standards
- Evaluate design changes, assess cost impacts, and manage engineering variations
- Liaise with clients, local councils, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and progress updates for management and clients

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Civil Engineering
- At least **2-3 years of relevant work experience** as a Civil Engineer or in a closely related role
- Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and Australian Standards
- Experience in roadworks, pavements, drainage, and public infrastructure projects
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Current Driver License and White Card preferred

- Some travel to project sites may be required
