Maintenance Supervisor, Rme (Moorebank)

**DESCRIPTION**: Amazon is hiring for Maintenance Supervisors to join the team at our Moorebank site. In this role you will be the shift lead for a team of up to 8 technicians (fitters and electricians).

As a Maintenance Supervisor you'll help us stay one step ahead, adopting the latest technologies and identifying new and efficient ways of working. In this role, you’ll pay close attention to our processes to help maintain our high standards, and you’ll put in place upgrades to take that standard even higher.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead and Motivate: Supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing strategic guidance and professional development
- Develop and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs and facility compliance strategies
- Act as an ambassador for safety within the team and to promote protected working across the site
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot complex facility systems and automated equipment
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships across organizational levels and participate in strategic leadership meetings

A day in the life Your day will be a dynamic blend of hands-on technical work and strategic leadership. You'll lead a team of technicians (fitters and electricians), troubleshoot complex equipment challenges, and develop proactive maintenance strategies that keep our cutting-edge systems performing at their peak

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Experience in team leadership
- Experience working in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance
- Relevant experience in automation or material handling equipment environments
- Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks.

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Understanding of programmable logic controls (PLC) programming
- Experience of multi-contractor management
- Knowledge of statutory compliance requirements
