About the role
Daikin Australia is looking for a proven and proactive Production Supervisor to manage the day-to-day manufacturing operations of our rooftop and AHU line.
The role operates out of our Sydney Manufacturing plant located in Chipping Norton and oversees the activity of production lines and supporting areas.
In this role, reporting to the Operations Manager your key responsibilities will include:
Directing the day-to-day activities in the assembly department ensuring a safe working environment.
Supervising line staff and driving performance to meet the quality of output and production levels.
Assist in planning and delivering production schedules in collaboration with management and supporting manufacturing functions.
Continuously support and implement improvement initiatives.
Continuously promote a secure, inclusive, and positive work environment
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Demonstrated commitment to manufacturing workplace safety.
3 years+ experience in a similar role
- supervisory qualification desirable.
Demonstrated leadership qualities and strong communication skills.
Experience with manufacturing and production best practices and principles.
Demonstrated ability to problem solve and make decisions.
High-level organizational and planning skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Certification III in Air conditioning and Refrigeration is highly regarded.
This is a hands-on, role working closely with key manufacturing, project, and RnD stakeholders. You will be required to build solid working relationships with key stakeholders.
