Production Supervisor (Edensor Park)

Job description

Giglio’s Fresh Chickens is a Poultry Abattoir located in Bonnyrigg, NSW. We are seeking a hands on Production Supervisor to join our managing team at our Chicken Processing Plant.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

- Engage, lead, motivate and develop your team through effective people management strategies ensuring overall site objectives
- Drive performance on a daily basis across the further processing facility ensuring delivery on time sensitive production deadlines
- Ensure that the labour cost base is the most productive and effective
- Ensure daily reporting is accurately completed and recorded as required
- Manual handling duties where required
- Train employees; provide consistent feedback on areas in need of improvement
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Fork Lift License / (MR License beneficial but not essential)

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

- Minimum (4) years experience within a Processing Plant
- Demonstrated one (1) years’ leadership experience
- Respond calmly when faced with obstacles
- Working knowledge of food safety regulations
- Must have the ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbal and written, with internal staff
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects

**Job Types**: Full-time / Salary: $75,000.00
- $85,000.00 per year

- Day shift
- Morning shift
